**About OwnersBox**

We are a fantasy sports operator and technology company experiencing rapid growth. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced **Accounting Manager** to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close process, and financial reporting. You will work closely with leadership on a broad range of financial issues and be an integral part of our finance team as we scale.

**What You’ll Do**

You will play a key leadership role in the finance function, taking responsibility for core accounting activities, team oversight, and external reporting. This includes:

- Oversee **month-end close**, **financial consolidation**, and **reporting** processes
- Lead the preparation of **annual financial statements**, including disclosure notes under **US GAAP**:

- Manage **revenue recognition** and **commission calculations**:

- Review working papers and reconciliations prepared by junior staff
- Prepare complex reconciliations and financial working papers
- Work with other departments and analysts to ensure accurate and timely **management reporting**:

- Lead the **annual financial audit** and participate in other external audit engagements
- Oversee and assist with **corporate and statutory tax filings**, including **sales/consumption taxes** and **franchise taxes**:

- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes (NetSuite, Google Sheets, etc.)

**Skills & Experience**

We’re looking for someone with:

- **4-6 years** of broad accounting experience, preferably in **technology or scale-up companies**:

- **CPA designation**, in good standing with **CPA Ontario**:

- Experience with **NetSuite** (intermediate to advanced)
- Strong skills in **Excel and Google Sheets**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
