As a Cloud Solution Administrator and member of the IT Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and services. You will be called upon to resolve incidents, identify the root causes of recurring issues, analyze and respond to service requests, and contribute to the analysis and delivery of various projects. You will also play a role in establishing and maintaining governance over the company’s cloud services.

The position is based at 5800 Saint-Denis Street, just steps from Rosemont metro station. It also offers the possibility of hybrid work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design & implement cloud-based solutions that meet technical and business requirements
- Manage current multicloud infrastructure and recommand enhancement based on best practices
- Review solutions & recommand scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems in our cloud environments
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Develop comprehensive backup and recovery strategies
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages & IAC technology
- Communicate complex cloud concepts, ensuring that relevant stakeholders understand the risks and benefits
- Following Finops principles, monitor and recommend changes to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency
- Actively participate in troubleshooting & investigations to quickly resolve issues impacting our end users
- Collaborate with different technical teams to enhance our posture and knowledge (Developpment, Security, Telecom, Infrastructure, Architecture)
- Enhance our DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Qualifications:
**When your expertise drives us**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience with **AWS**and **Azure**(regardless of the number of years, hands-on experience with both is essential)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions
- Experience with Azure technologies (Compute, network, storage, database, webapp)
- Experience with AWS technologies (Compute, network, storage, database, webapp)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, and M365)
- Experience with cloud-native development methodologies (e.g., containers, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experiences with Migrations (On-Prem to Cloud, Cloud to Cloud) and Migration tools such as Azure Migrate, Azure HCX and Site Recovery for efficient cloud migration processes
- Strong knowledge of IAM (Idendity & Access management)
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in Cloud networking, (ExpressRoute, VPNs, Route tables, DNS, Load balancers, vNET & vNET peering, Application Gateway, Caching & CDN, etc)
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, firewalls, and routing
- Strong expertise in Cloud Finops using tools like tags, policies & alerts)
- Encryption, key management, and secrets management
- Compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Ensuring cloud environments comply with relevant security standards and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell or Go (Golang))
- Good knowledge in Cloud IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Azure BICEP, etc
- Devtools Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
- Configuration management Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Understanding of database technologies (SQL/Cosmos/Mongo/PostgreSQL)
- Fluency in French and English, as some communications are with partners outside of Québec
