What you will do:Reporting to the VP of Total Rewards & HR Operations, this role is responsible for the design, adoption, implementation, and optimization of Cineplex’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) in support of Cineplex’s strategic priorities, as well as directing the operational effectiveness of HR services. You will act as a key liaison between HR, Data & Technology, Operations and external vendors to enable operational excellence and deliver seamless employee experience.Job Responsibilities:Ownership for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Workday HCM and related business processes, including data governance, security and complianceServe as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery and employee experienceDrive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenanceEnsure up-to-date documentation of HRIS functionalities, processes and capabilitiesLead projects related to enhancements of HRIS including gathering requirements, developing specifications, preparing user communications, conducting training sessions and coordinating implementation activitiesIdentify emerging trends in HR technology and assess their potential impact on the organization’s use of HRIS and related processes to improve process effectivenessMaintain relationships with key vendor partners to ensure awareness of evolving HRIS solutions and to assess their applicability to the organization’s needsProvide advice and guidance to senior leaders on HRIS-related issuesSupport the organization on how to make more efficient use of people data and analytics to drive better decision making and people-focused initiativesDefine and refine service level agreements and key metrics to monitor efficiency and effectiveness; analyze internal customer feedback and engage with key stakeholders for inputLead the HRIS team through providing regular feedback, coaching, and recognition to employeesQualifications:Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Information TechnologyMinimum 7 years progressive experience with Workday HCM and other modules, including configuration, integration, release management, business process optimization and security management, in a complex business environmentStrong understanding of HR functions, end to end processes, and systems integration to ensure operational excellence of HR services and optimization of HRISExpert-level proficiency in Workday including the design, development, and optimization of dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-makingConsiderable experience evaluating, enhancing and streamlining HR workflows, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement optimized end-to-end processesStrong understanding of Workday AI capabilities including emerging features, automation opportunities and practical use casesDemonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing HRIS teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to ensure team membersProven leadership in cross-functional collaboration, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure HRIS initiatives meet both technical and organizational requirementsCertification in Workday HCM is definite assetProven project management skills and strong understanding of change management disciplineExcellent communication skills and experience liaising with all levels of the organizationInclusion & DiversityCineplex, its subsidiaries, and affiliates are equal opportunity employers with a commitment to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
