We're seeking a talented backend focused software engineer with STRONG data skills to join our Ads Signals team, a group of innovative and collaborative engineers dedicated to growing the quantity and quality of off-platform conversion signals while prioritizing user privacy. As a KEY player on our team, you'll have the opportunity to use your data skills to guide the team’s future direction such as the evolution of key products such as Signals Quality and Signals Anomaly Detection. The ideal candidate would also get involved in helping us evolve our data pipeline to the next level or the flexibility of working on other types of backend heavy projects. Why This Role Matters: As a member of our Ads Signals team, you'll be instrumental in helping advertisers succeed on Reddit, while also ensuring that our users' privacy is respected. The team would like to get your guidance based on your understanding of the data. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our Ads business, and you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. Responsibilities: Independently identify opportunities based on our data and drive the evolution of our products that would help improve the quality of our conversion data. Lead the development of advertiser facing products along with a group of frontend and backend engineers that would improve both the quality as well as quantity of our conversions data using cutting-edge technologies Be a thought partner of your leadership as well as XFNs while contributing towards the development of key projects such as signals quality and signals anomaly detection.
