We are better togetherResponsibilities:Prepares proposals and establishes project financial budgetsPerforms project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussionsReviews and reports on project mock-upsPerforms periodic site visits and utilizes a site visit reporting system to identify and update action itemsWitness field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, WBALT, infrared testing, etc.)Manages and coordinates small and large projectsConducts business development to secure revenue-generating projectsClient managementMentoring and possibly managing junior staffParticipates in continuing educationPerforms various office-related tasksLead meetings, both internally and externallyQualifications:Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related fieldMinimum 6 years of experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systemsOrganizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projectsProject management experienceAbility to work in a team environmentStrong customer service commitmentExcellent communication and documentation skillsQualification as a signing professional or pursuing registration as a Professional Engineer or Registered ArchitectJob Type:RegularJob Profile: For internal useConsultant IVAttention Staffing & Recruitment Agencies: Morrison Hershfield, now Stantec, will not pay fees for recruitment activities related to the hiring of a candidate unless a written service agreement has been established between a duly authorized representative of our Corporate Human Resources department and the recruitment/placement firm.
