We are urgently seeking an experienced Industrial Sewer for a short-term contract with a leading industrial manufacturer.The ideal candidate will have prior experience with heavy-duty industrial sewing and is available for an immediate start.Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)Pay rate: $25 +Must have a vehicle to due locationShort term contract - (month - two months)AdvantagesHighly competitive wage ranging from $25+ per hour, based on your level of industrial sewing expertise.Opportunity for immediate short-term employment (contract runs until the end of November, with potential extension into December).Opportunity for possible overtime.Work in a very stable business environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial sewing machines (hand-operated) to manufacture heavy-duty, thick insulation blankets .Focus exclusively on the sewing process, as other fabrication steps (like stuffing) are handled by a separate team.Produce insulation wraps and components specifically designed for food processing and oil/gas plant applications.Ensure all fabricated items meet precise technical specifications and quality standards.QualificationsMinimum 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial sewing is required.Must be comfortable operating industrial sewing machines with the hand and working with thick, heavy-duty blanket materials.Must have reliable transportationMust successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test and a Background Check (BC).Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is considered an asset.SummaryThe preferred and required method for application is online. his is an urgent need with a time crunch; we are looking to fill this role immediately.
