The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks in a busy work environment, proficiency working with ERP software and a willingness to learn. We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude who takes pride in their work and is looking to grow their career with one of Canada’s best managed companiesRESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate the close off process and prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and related schedules and notesConduct variance analysis of actual performance against budget and forecastLiaise between finance and non-finance teams to support data collection, cross company initiatives, infrastructure development and process improvementsSupport accounting research to provide recommendations, ensuring the Company complies with all areas of ASPE and in accordance with established Paladin policies and proceduresLiaise with external auditors to provide them with the necessary information for the annual auditEnsure appropriate systems and controls are implemented and maintained, and lead on any system implementation impacting financial systemsProvide mentorship and supervise accounting staffIdentify, evaluate, and implement technology-driven solutions that optimize workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity across departmentsAssist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 4 years progressive work experience in accountingProven track record in supporting the production of financial statements compliant with ASPECPA professional accounting designation is an assetTrack record of managing deliverables from multiple parties to meet challenging deadlinesCollaborative approach to leading an accounting team in finding creative solutions to daily issuesDemonstrated ability in leading teams to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and month-end close processesAPPLICATION DETAILS:Deadline: November 30, 2025 @ 1700 hoursAs one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, boasting Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Paladin is Canada’s leading security company, with services and superior expertise that span all types of protection.
