This is a permanent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving efficiency, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.Why this client?Large reputable company in BCHybrid work opportunity - 2 days in office$95-110k/year with bonus and RSP matchingResponsibilities:Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and system effectiveness.Prepare and review account reconciliations, analyze variances, and resolve discrepancies with cross-functional teams.Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentation.Provide technical accounting guidance and collaborate with business partners to ensure sound financial decisions.Identify financial risks and propose solutions to maintain reporting integrity.Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure consistency and professional development.Perform other related duties as required.Ideal Candidate:CPA designation or in the process of5+ years of manufacturing experience via industry or public practiceOK to travel to the US 2-3 times a yearSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at TEEMA by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
