Responsibilities Checking architectural and structural precast concrete members, including bridges, building and miscellaneous membersReview Precast building layoutsWorking with structural and architectural contract drawingsOther duties as assigned.Technical RequirementsPost-Secondary education in Civil, Architectural, Structural or Mechanical Technology is preferred, however, less education combined with appropriate experience will be taken into considerationMinimum 5 years’ experience with drafting/detailing and experience with architectural, structural and mechanical contract drawings.Business Requirements Ability to work in a steady and even pace to promote accuracy and quality of workHigh attention to detailPrevious experience in the construction industry is an assetAbility to read architectural and structural drawings is a requirementCultural Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals of various disciplinesA team player with the desire to work collaboratively with others to improve existing processesAs a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Strescon offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
