If you thrive in a hands-on environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn, this could be the role for you.Location - Etobicoke, ON Salary - $40-$43./hr AdvantagesCompetitive pay and annual performance reviews.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Company pension plan and stock ownership options.Paid time off and holiday pay.Continuous training and professional development opportunities.Opportunities to work on large-scale, sustainability-driven industrial projects that make a real impact.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and Repair Equipment: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems including centrifuges, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic presses, and other plant equipment.Install and Upgrade Systems: Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to install or modify control systems, instrumentation, and machinery.Inspect and Test: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of electrical and electromechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.Troubleshoot Controls: Work with PLCs, DCS, and VFDs to identify and resolve control or automation issues.Collaborate: Work closely with maintenance and operations teams, providing input and technical support as needed.QualificationsValid Ontario 442A (Industrial Electrician) or 309A (Construction & Maintenance Electrician) License.Minimum 2 years of industrial experience, ideally in heavy industry such as water treatment, petrochemical, cement, or manufacturing.Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.Comfortable using hand and power tools and working with mechanical and hydraulic equipment.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to manage time effectively.SummaryThis is your opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team that’s not only maintaining essential infrastructure—but improving it for future generations.
