Join our team and let your commitment to safety take flight in a role that's both challenging and incredibly rewarding.Job Requirements:Conduct regular rover patrols of the main yard and all road channels (1-7) to ensure safety, security, and compliance.Complete hourly equipment reports, documenting the status, location, and condition of all site equipment.Perform routine patrols of buildings, exterior areas, and secure zones to identify security threats, unauthorized access, and safety hazards.Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, escalating to supervisors or law enforcement when required.Assist employees, contractors, and visitors by providing directions, general support, and conflict de-escalation.Maintain strong access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification, and enforcing site policies.Document all incidents, observations, and activities through accurate report writing and logbook entries.Inspect perimeter fencing, gates, equipment, and high-risk areas to ensure integrity and security.Communicate effectively over radio channels to coordinate patrols and respond to onsite requests.Support all emergency response procedures, including evacuations, hazard reporting, and first-response actions.Maintain professionalism and positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and onsite teams.Qualifications:Strong Communication Skills - verbal and written.Ability to pass a Drug & alcohol testAbility to work independently under minimal supervision.Demonstrate a high level of performance, commitment, and motivation.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure.Excellent computer skillsAbility to problem solve and strong decision-making skills.Physically fit - ability to respond quickly to a variety of incidents on foot.Valid Security License with the province of British Columbia.Valid BC Driver's licence with a clean drivers abstract.Reliable transportation to get to and from site.Job Information:Ongoing travel on an FSR road (all weather conditions).4 on 4 off rotation.12 hour shifts. OT after 8 hours per day.Possibility of rotating from days and nights.Ability to fuel up work vehicles. Ability to use a radio and know the road channels. Please note this is not a remote position.
