Security Guard Critical Response TeamBe part of an elite, specialized security team We are seeking high-caliber Critical Response Team Security Guards who thrive under pressure and excel in fast-paced, challenging environments. This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, advanced training, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving scenarios. As a member of our Critical Response Team, you will be entrusted with safeguarding people, property, and assets in situations that demand the highest level of preparedness and professionalism.We are seeking candidates for casual part-time work, with availability to work either days (ex. 8am-5pm), or short shifts (ex. 5:30am-9:30am, or 1:30pm-5:30pm), all days of the week.What We OfferCompetitive wagesUniforms provided at no costDevelopment and training through Paladin’s Learning Management SystemMay be eligible for extended health and dental benefitsExclusive discounts for employeesResponsibilitiesWillingness to travel surrounding cities up to 2 to 4 hours away (example Terrace)Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and critical situationsAccess control and alarm responseProvide tactical support and reinforcement to frontline security teamsConduct high-visibility patrols and proactive threat deterrenceSafeguard high-value assets and sensitive environmentsCollaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when requiredMaintain detailed incident reporting and situational awarenessQualificationsValid BC Security LicenseBC Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to serve as a shelterAdvanced security or tactical training (use of force, crisis intervention, defensive tactics, etc.) are preferred, but not requiredMust have either Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced First Aid TrainingMinimum 1 year of experience in security preferred (Industrial/Healthcare/Campus)Physical ability to respond to demanding situationsExcellent communication and de-escalation skillsFlexibility for various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekendsLegal eligibility to work in Canada
