IQVIA is hiring a Senior Product Management Director to lead the strategic direction of our data products, including defining the vision and roadmap prioritization to drive a bold transformation.In this role, you’ll go beyond managing products—you’ll shape the future of data consumption in life sciences, enabling AI-driven insights and influencing how the industry uses data. You will lead a critical Product Domain focused on cloud-based data platform technologies. Partnering with a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, you’ll consolidate solutions, define a future-proof standardized approach to stratify investments and IQVIA Data Product capabilities, while working to ensure successful execution across the organization.Do you consider yourself a Data Evangelist? Then come and join us to help us develop the future of healthcare data—challenge the status quo, inspire cross‑functional teams, and shape our data strategy at scale.What will you be doing?Platform Evangelism & Change Leadership: Champion a shared vision for our data products; rally cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Platform, Commercial, Operations) to adopt consumption‑based models and self‑serve data productsExecutive Presentations & Storytelling: Prepare and present product updates, strategies, and business cases to executives—translating complex concepts into clear outcomes.Consumption Model Transformation: Lead the transition from traditional delivery to true consumption‑based data experiences, focusing on adoption, activation, and measurable business impact. Be the driver of the business change.Partnership Management: Scope and execute partnerships to enhance product offerings (e.g., advanced analytics, AI, developer productivity) in collaboration with our Architecture & Standards function.Market‑Oriented Strategy: Develop and implement IQVIA's data products across the organization, focusing on internal stakeholder and market demand.Trend Analysis: Analyze internal demand patterns, market trends, customer needs (GBUs, RBUs, and Users in Operations), and the competitive landscape to align products with company strategy.Product Definition & Design: Define, design, and position products, components, and platforms with governance gates, quarterly planning, and agile development—prioritizing consolidation of overlapping capabilities into a modern, scalable platform.Performance & Adoption Metrics: Monitor and analyze product performance and adoption metrics; iterate strategy based on usage, reliability, and outcomes.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Skills and experience in Product Strategy, Product Ownership, Delivery and cloud‑based data platform and Big Data technologiesHealthcare experience is a plus.What is required to get the job done?Experience: 10+ years in complex software product management or a similar role.Transformation to Consumption Models: Proven success in transitioning a data business to a true consumption model using cloud‑based data platform technologies.Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.Big Data: Demonstrated experience in Big Data technologies.Data‑Driven Mindset: A data‑driven mentality and willingness to understand our data is essential.Leadership & Vision: Demonstrated leadership and vision driving cross‑org transformation.Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communicator and collaborator across technical and commercial teams.Research & Analysis: Proficient in internal inventory research, market research, and competitive analysis.Product Lifecycle Management: Expertise in managing the product lifecycle, from inception to adoption and scale.Cross‑Functional Team Leadership: Experience leading cross‑functional teams.Stakeholder Influence & Negotiation: Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $137,700.00 - $383,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
