In this role, you will be responsible for the foundational services, APIs, and developer infrastructure that power our product ecosystem.Key Areas include:Developer experience and productivityPlatform reliability, scalability, and trustInfrastructure modernizationDeployment and operational toolingObservability across the platformEvangelization of our roadmap and platform capabilitiesResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Define and own the long-term platform product vision and strategy aligned with company goals with a focus on platform excellence.Roadmap Ownership: Build and execute a comprehensive platform product roadmap that supports both internal teams and external customers.Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Legal, and other Product teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and extensible.Team Management: Lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers.Developer Experience: Champion an outstanding developer experience by driving improvements in APIs, SDKs, documentation, sandbox environments, and tools.Platform Governance: Establish frameworks and standards for platform capabilities, data management, service orchestration, and integrations.Performance Measurement: Define KPIs and success metrics for platform usage, reliability, scalability, and adoption.Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the voice of the Twilio platform across the organization.Qualifications:Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply.10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years leading platform or infrastructure-focused product teams.Proven experience developing and managing platform products such as APIs, developer tools, identity/auth, data services, or cloud-native infrastructure.Lead and execute ambitious platform roadmap with measurable outcomes.Strong technical acumen and ability to engage deeply with engineering and architecture teams.Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.Track record of building and mentoring high-performing product teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on multi-tenant SaaS and cloud platforms.Familiarity with microservices architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Passion for building scalable platforms that enable rapid product innovation.What We OfferThere are many benefits to working at Twilio, including, in addition to competitive pay, things like generous time-off, ample parental and wellness leave, healthcare, a retirement savings program, and much more.Equal Employment OpportunityTwilio is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
