Shipping & Receiving Specialist-25002037DescriptionJob Summary:The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will manage warehouse inventory, handle shipping and receiving tasks, and operate forklifts for equipment & material movement. Building crates/skids as required. Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods, maintaining records, and ensuring safety compliance.Responsibilities:Operate forklift to move, load and unload materials & equipment.Interfaces with technicians and management to order and provide goods and service.Provides customer/client group information and assures that support requirements and schedules are met.Pick orders accurately and efficiently.Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure that quantity, count, and quality are accurate.Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.Organize products and materials in the warehouse and maintain inventory accuracy.Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or damage.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and follow standard operating procedures.Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns.QualificationsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentJDE experience preferred.Valid forklift operator certificationUnderstanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulationsExperience in shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucksAbility to operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucksAttention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillmentStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamFlexibility to work overtime as needed.Working Conditions:This position requires some outside work in all weather conditions, lifting up to 75lbs on a daily basis, climbing, bending, and/or after-hours (on-call) work. About Linde:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
