Join our team as a Forklift Operator. We need a calm and vigilant person to manage the movement of our diverse inventory. You will primarily operate a forklift to load and unload goods of all sizes and weights. Occasional manual lifting is required, with the ability to handle up to 75 lb loads.50% Forklift Operator / 50% Admin work.perform basic computer functions such as answer emails, print paperwork, enter information in TruckMate (training will be provided for TruckMate)Must-Haves: A valid forklift license and established experience in a loading/unloading environment are non-negotiable.Schedule:Monday – Friday: 4am – 12pm$23/hAdvantages weekly pay- A positive, calm and respectful corporate culture.- A safety-focused work environment.- The chance to get to know the company and potentially obtain a permanent position if the opportunity arises.ResponsibilitiesResponsabilities of the forklift driver:- Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes.- Forklift operation: Perform 75% of tasks using a forklift. Must have a valid license and previous experience in LTL loading and unloading.- Manual handling: Perform 25% of lifting tasks, with the ability to regularly lift weights of 50 to 75 pounds (approximately 23 to 34 kg).- Perform basic computer functions such as answer emails, print paperwork, enter information in TruckMate (training will be provided for TruckMate)- Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team. Compliance with safety rules is paramount.Qualifications-The forklift driver must :- have a valid external forklift license- have previous experience in LTL loading and unloading- be able to lift 75 pounds- hazardous goods certification (an asset)SummaryAre you the ideal candidate for this position?
