Expected: • Extensive experience in the design of well pads, pipelines and Central Processing Facilities • Proven experience leading teams through FEED and Detailed engineering stages of heavy oil/SAGD projects • Strong knowledge of process safety and risk management in the heavy oil/SAGD industry • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution • Currently registered or eligible for registration with APEGA (additional registrations with EGBC and APEGS are considered an asset) • Minimum of 15 years’ experience with the majority spent in heavy oil/SAGD design • Proficient in HYSYS • Well versed in other process engineering software such as HTRI, Aspen EDR, Pipesim, UniSim, etc. • Strong client-facing communication skills • Excellent written and oral English skills • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines across multiple projects • Ability to coordinate with global workshare offices undefined
