Position: System Engineer - Plant Systems (Power Generation) Location: In-office - Pickering Structure: Contract 12 months to start Pay: Up to $65.00 p/h inc. -- We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Engergy Sector clients in a contract capacity Please see below for more information on the position and if interested apply with an updated resume aligned to the needs of the role. — Requirements: Skills: Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering principles, plant systems, and equipment relevant to power generation (nuclear, hydroelectric, or thermal). Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical problems, interpret data, and develop effective solutions. Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Project Management: Capable of managing multiple priorities, planning tasks, and meeting deadlines. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in technical work and documentation. Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with operations, maintenance, and regulatory staff. Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety culture, regulatory compliance, and best practices in the nuclear industry. Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience in power generation, utilities, or a related industrial environment. Experience with system engineering, design engineering, maintenance, operations, or project engineering is preferred.
