Who we areFounded in 2000, Whistler Platinum has offered homeowners and guests unrivalled property management, vacation planning, and personalized concierge services for over two decades. The benefits of working for usWage range $62,5K - $67,5K p/year based on experienceSki/Snowboard season pass or recreational passFull-time employees will be eligible to join the extended medical plan (Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability) after 12 months of employmentFlexible work schedule to enjoy the Whistler lifestyleDiscounts to experience Whistler activitiesStaff outings and fun work atmosphereWhat you'll doThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager and the Operations Team whilst attending to service requests and general maintenance tasks for Whistler Platinum's 150 vacation homes.Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards;Consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service to in-house owners and guestsCoaching and training team members on all aspects of general maintenanceResponding to maintenance tasks as requestedCompleting silicone, caulking, painting, plumbing and carpentry projectsCompleting hot tub water quality checks and servicesCompleting deficiency reports from the Maintenance Manager, Owner Services and DispatchPerforming van audits and monitoring stock levels in the Maintenance ShopOther duties as requiredWho are we looking for? If you understand the importance of doing a job correctly the first time and are always striving to find the best solution to any challenges that arise, you may be just the person we are looking for to work as a team member with Whistler Platinum.The following skills and experience are preferred in a successful candidate;Minimum of three years' experience in a maintenance-related roleAbility to work in a fast-paced environment meeting and exceeding guest expectations in an unsupervised atmosphereBe organized and able to effectively communicate service task details and descriptionPositive, punctual and professionalExcellent grooming with professional image and attitudeGreat knowledge of the Whistler area is an advantagePreference will be given to candidates who are able to make a one-year commitmentYou must have a valid BC driver’s licenceVisa and Driving Requirements: You must be legally eligible to work in Canada. We are unable to assist you in obtaining Canadian work authorization. You must have a driving license that is, or can be transferred to, a BC driving license.
