Job DescriptionAt our Long Term Care homes, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming culinary atmosphere with fantastic food. As a Dietary Aide, you help serve our Residents during meal times and special events. If you were working for us as a Dietary Aide, here are some of the things you would have done last week:Greeted Residents and answered questions in a courteous and professional mannerConnected with some of your Residents to see how their day was or if they were looking forward to any events as they sit down at their tableServe attractive, nutritious meals being mindful of special diets, textures, and needs of the ResidentsExperienced the joy of making a positive impact by serving nutritious, comforting meals to ResidentsParticipated in establishing and maintaining a home-like environment, including the dining experienceParticipated in a special recreation event like a cupcake tasting competition for the Residents, or summer barbeque for the HomeSet up and cleared the dining roomWashed dishes, cleaned and sanitized the kitchen areaAssisted with food preparation as assignedAnd supported your team as needed. When you apply, if you have your credentials, we will try our best to reach out to you within the week (hopefully within a few days).
