Day in the life of a Collections Representative: Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions. Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers. Support operations by managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts of financial loans. Expertly engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement. Complete initial trace work using online tools and account systems. Document collections activities and processes through superior administration skills. What we are looking for: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a collections, sales, or customer service or call center/contact center role. Experience with using an automated dialer system is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to multi-task; adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment. Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications. Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit). Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis at the time of application; we are not able to provide sponsorship.
