Position: Line Cook Location: 140 Park Place Boulevard, Barrie, ON, L4N 6P1. Job Type: Part Time Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Our Lone Star prep cooks share a passion for food, and work with a team of culinary members to provide our guests with exceptional, freshly prepared food. We focus on making food fresh in house, while maintaining the highest standards of food and workplace safety. You will learn to make the best Tex-Mex north of the border, and be given the opportunity to advance your culinary career as far as you want to take it. Responsibilities Prepare and cook our award winning food including sizzling fajitas, classic Tex-Mex dishes & AAA steaks. Lean and follow recipe specifications to ensure that the right flavour profiles are being achieved and portion control is maintained. Demonstrate the ability to multi-task by attending to multiple orders at the same time. Collaborate with our service staff to ensure that our best products are being prepared and served to our guests. Work with our culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. Requirements Lift items up to 30lbs. The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift. Previous culinary experience is an asset but not required.
