Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs,engineersand manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions JOIN A GROWING INDUSTRY In the Edmonton region we have manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, SherwoodParkand Nisku. We offer various shifts: Rotating Day Shift (continental) Monday to Thursday Nightshift Weekend Nightshift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) OverviewThe Quality Control Inspectoris responsible fordirect examination of product to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and align with legislation and customer specifications. Requiringa high levelof attention to detail, the Quality Control Inspectoris responsible forstrictly adhering to the organization’s quality assurance procedures and policies andidentifyingdefects and/or production errors to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain. The QC document Control Clerkis responsible forcontrol of documentation, OPL creation, etc.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCreate andmaintainQA/QC control documentationDocument Control – organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectorsDaily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high qualityEnsure productions are inspected asdeterminedby company requirements, checking of paperworkDaily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor Complete sub assembly inspectionssuch as:motors, coil, evap., furnace, and paintComplete unit final inspectionsReview inspection documents and make unit packagesReport any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety CoordinatorAssistwith education of other inspectors and production team membersInspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correctAssistmarking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct andsubmitto Quality SupervisorInspect all aspect of units with theappropriate formsfrom the beginning to the end and record all discrepanciesOrganize all inspection documentation papers and online photosPerforms all dutiesin accordance withSilent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and CodeOther duties asrequiredKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbility tooperaterequired equipment in a safe and responsible manner.Effective communication skills.Time management skills.Critical eye foridentifyingdefects.Knowledge ofappropriate materials, methods, and the toolsrequiredin various assembly processes.Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or suppliesin excess of40 pounds.Must be able to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical fractional equations.Ability to read blueprints is considered an asset.Working ConditionsCommercial/Industrial environmentExercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazardsAlways adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment)Long periodsof standingOvertime asrequiredContactsCommunication is primarily internal to the assigned work team and Team Lead/Supervisor/Senior Production Manager.
