Field QA/qc Inspector

Nisku, Canada Helical Pile Solutions Ltd. Full time

The Field QA/QC Inspector will provide field level inspections of piles for the duration of project. You will be reporting to HPS QA/QC with reports detailing the quality of piles welded by 3rd party manufacturer arriving from overseas. There will be a high volume of inspections required. This is a project based position with potential for long term full time employment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating with client representative to facilitate the inspections of piles prior to shipping to site.
- Ensuring that piles being inspected are documented and records are promptly sent to HPS QA/QC for verification.
- Managing their time accordingly as there is a high volume of inspections to get through daily.
- Communicating non conformances to the project team lead.

**Requirements**:

- CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector Certification
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Construction certificates (CSTS, WHIMIS)
- 5 years of experience as welding inspector
- Welding experience will be considered an asset.
- CSA W59 endorsed.
- High School Education, a higher education level will be preferred.
