Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to:Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor Based in Québec City and reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler supports the business unit in achieving its production goals by adhering to established systems and processes. The business unit manufactures chemical analyzers for various markets.The Assembler will have the following responsibilities:Perform optical, mechanical, and electronic assembly of our analyzersConduct quality control on the assembled analyzersCarry out final testing to ensure quality standards are metFollow established processesTroubleshoot issues encountered during assembly and testingAlign with ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the companyThe ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:Experience in electronic, mechanical, or optical assembly (an asset)Strong learning ability and sharp analytical skillsDemonstrates autonomy, responsibility, and versatilityCombines high quality standards with efficiencyDetail-oriented and skilled with hands-on tasksStrong analytical thinkingEnjoys problem-solvingA vocational diploma in one of the following fields is an asset: Electromechanics of Automated Systems, Stationary Machine Mechanics, Welding and Fitting, or Metal Structure and FabricationA college diploma in physics, electronics, or a related field is also considered an assetWhy ABB?We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
