The Measurement & Analytics division is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instruments and analyzers, operating at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The division's portfolio includes analyzers that measure the composition of gases and liquids; instrumentation that measures process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions that assess parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; as well as advanced digital solutions for device management, equipment health monitoring, and predictive maintenance.

The Measurement & Analytics division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, water and wastewater, energy, hydrogen, batteries, and the marine industry. It enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from smart sensing and measuring devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing "before" and "after" values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.

The manufacturing site in Quebec is currently seeking production technicians specialized in glassblowing.

As part of its operations, the Quebec plant integrates artisanal and technical processes such as glassblowing, which is essential for manufacturing high-precision components. Associated tasks include:

  • Preparing raw glass and controlling the materials used
  • Blowing and shaping glass using rods, molds, and other specialized tools
  • Strict temperature control in furnaces and work areas
  • Creating custom parts for integration into measuring instruments
  • Finishing, polishing, and quality inspection of glass parts
  • Strict adherence to safety standards in the workshop and when handling hot materials

As a production technician, the person in this role may be assigned to the assembly of measuring devices in various production cells.

Profile sought:

  • Experience in glassblowing or artisanal glass processing (asset)
  • Manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and safely in a workshop
  • Interest in solving technical problems and precision work
  • Vocational or college training in arts and crafts, glass processing, materials, or a related field (asset)
