Temporary Part Time Security Guard - Extra Coverage Guard - Westmount MallSite Description:Westmount Mall is a multi-tenant retail shopping centre serving the local community, featuring a variety of retail stores, services, and common areas. The site includes indoor public spaces, tenant storefronts, food services, and parking areas that accommodate high volumes of daily visitors. With consistent public traffic and special events, the mall requires an organized environment that supports customer safety, accessibility, and smooth day-to-day operations.Position: Temporary Part Time Security Guard Site: Westmount Mall Address: 785 Wonderland Road, South, London, ON N6K 2Y5Hours: Monday-Friday (10am-2pm)Payrate: $18.54/hr Posting Date: January 8th, 2026 Internal Closing Date: January 15th, 2026 External Closing Date: January 31st, 2026 Job Duties:Patrol the mall’s ground floor during high-traffic periods, especially during high school lunch breaks.Monitor student behavior and address rowdy or inappropriate conduct.Enforce the mall’s Code of Conduct and Trespass to Property Act (TPA), asking individuals to leave when necessary.Respond quickly to incidents and calls for service.Maintain clear communication with the team and complete detailed incident reports.Use and manage security equipment such as radios, keys, and CCTV.Prerequisites:Valid Ontario Security Licence Standard First Aid, CPR Level C Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability Authorized to legally work in Canada Why choose Paladin?
