The Lloydminster & District Co-op Propane department is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Bulk delivery driver.Essential Functions of the Job:To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.To deliver product in a professional and efficient manner to farm and commercial customers.Must have the ability to operate the metering system in the vehicle for customer billing.Collect payment from customer as required.Fill out daily declining balance report.Complete a pre-trip inspection every morning before operating the truck.Must be able to operate a tandem truck; Class 1 or 3 license with air endorsement.Responsible to maintain and clean the delivery unit.Responsible for loading and unloading propane on the bulk truck and end use containers.Keep accurate and timely driver reports and logs.Record driver hours of service.To be familiar with and adhere to Co-op policies and procedures.To always practice safe handling procedures with all product and equipment; report hazardous conditions to management.Assist in other areas as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to problem solveTo be able to work effectively with other staff, supervisors and customersAbility to follow safe work proceduresStrong attention to detailEducation and Experience:Previous propane experience an assetMust produce a clean drivers abstract Must hold a valid class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsementWHMIS, TDG certificationsFirst Aid CertificationH2S CertificationOur employees receive competitive salaries, a profit-sharing program, EFAP program, employee discount program, and ongoing learning opportunities.
