This role is primarily based out of our Beta Avenue Warehouse (, with regular field work supporting the Metro Vancouver Region.As an Evolve Fleet Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, availability, and performance of Evolve’s micromobility fleet. You will focus on intermediate and advanced mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance, and in field servicing to keep bikes and scooters operating at a high standard. This role operates Monday to Friday during regular business hours, with a company van and equipment provided for field work.Who you are:A hands on mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and safetyComfortable working independently in both a workshop and field environmentOrganized, detail oriented, and reliable when managing repairs and documentationCollaborative and communicative when working with operations and field teamsAdaptable and comfortable working in a fast paced, operational settingWhat you’ll do:Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on eBikes and eScooters, including drivetrains, braking systems, and IoT componentsPerform scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs to maximize fleet uptimeSupport battery management, including charging, testing, and replacementInspect, clean, and test devices to ensure safety and readiness before deploymentAccurately log all maintenance and repair activities in backend systemsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environmentTrack and manage inventory of parts, tools, and consumablesRespond to field maintenance requests and complete repairs across Metro Vancouver, primarily North VancouverSafely operate a company van to deploy, retrieve, and service fleet devicesPerform inspections and minor repairs in the field and escalate complex issues as neededCommunicate regularly with the operations team regarding fleet condition, issues, and prioritiesSupport basic customer interactions when encountered during field servicingWhat you bring:Minimum two years of experience as a bike and or eScooter mechanic, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceGrade 12 or equivalentStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skills across bikes and micromobility devicesAbility to lift up to 90 lbs safelyValid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a safe driving record and clear driver’s abstractComfort riding eBikes and operating vehicles safelyFamiliarity with mobile applications and digital tools for logging and communicationThe salary range for this position is $to and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity.
