Global Firewall Engineer

Roles and responsibilities: You will provide engineering support for firewalls on multiple platforms across the Deloitte global infrastructure; lead engineering projects to completion working with other Deloitte teams and vendors; and deliver successful deployments according to architectural standards. Work on assigned issues or tasks related to firewall OS configurations. Work on assigned issues or tasks related new or existing rule implementations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives which drive efficiency and improvement within the GTS Firewall Management Service. Assist with security audits and remediation of security-related issues. Bring problems to a resolution within a timely manner and escalate complex technical issues. Ensure firewall services and systems are always available and reliable.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree/college diploma in computer science or equivalent industry experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology and cyber security.Knowledge of Check Point OS, rules and advanced troubleshooting.Knowledge of Palo Alto OS, rules and advanced troubleshooting.Knowledge of LAN/WAN and network protocols.Previous experience with SNMP monitoring using tools like Orion.Previous experience setting up and troubleshooting NETFLOW on Checkpoint & or Palo Alto.Knowledge of monitoring tools and commands to ensure quick resolution to issues.Knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies, specifically Palo Alto Prisma.
