Role: Firewall Engineer Location: Remote within GTA area Contract: 8 months (8 hours a day) Requirements: Bachelor's degree/college diploma in computer science or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology and cyber security. Knowledge of Check Point OS, rules and advanced troubleshooting. Knowledge of Palo Alto OS, rules and advanced troubleshooting. Knowledge of LAN/WAN and network protocols. Previous experience with SNMP monitoring using tools like Orion. Previous experience setting up and troubleshooting NETFLOW on Checkpoint & or Palo Alto. Knowledge of monitoring tools and commands to ensure quick resolution to issues. Knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies, specifically Palo Alto Prisma.
