Job DescriptionAs a Fusion Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and field installation of customer HDPE purchases in addition to warehouse duties. You must be service-oriented, have a high level of attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety.Additional duties will include:Fabricate custom HDPE orders to required specificationsInstallation of pipe, fittings, and fabrications on-siteMaintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safetyPick materials for orders, assemble, and package the materials for shipmentLoad/unload trucks and operate fusion equipment and forklift safelyMaintain/repair HDPE pipe fusion equipmentPerform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre ManagerQualificationsGrade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an assetPossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrityAbility to develop comprehensive product and product application knowledgeExcellent customer service skillsMechanical inclinationExcellent organizational skills with an attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammatesEnergetic, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyPossess a valid driver’s licensePreferred Skills:Previous experience with or knowledge of HDPE pipe and fittingsFusion Certification would be an asset but not required, we will certifyAdditional InformationSalary Range - $50,000 - $70,000
