We are currently recruiting for the role of Program Administrative Assistant to join our LINC team in Surrey, BC. This part-time position consists of 14.25 hours per week. The Program Administrative Assistant is responsible for the LINC program which has a student body of approximately 250 students.
The key areas of responsibility are:
Answering clients enquiries in person, by phone and via email; Updating and maintaining client wait lists; Ensuring all documentation is processed for student registration, following up where needed; Ensuring files are up to date including record keeping in iCare; Liaising with LINC instructors and daycare staff; Administrative tasks including the preparation of student letters, class lists and attendance sheets; Processing client referrals; Opening and closing procedures; Program supplies inventories and performing all administrative duties.Qualified candidates will possess:
Post-secondary training in Office Administration; Minimum 2-years experience in an office environment; Exceptional written and oral English language communication skills; Computer and internet skills, including entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Teams), iCare and other databases; Minimum 50 WPM, typing speed; Experience working in funded programs and non-profit, preferred; Second language an asset; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic group environment.A Criminal Record Check is a requirement of employment.
