FGI group of companies has over 500 employees with locations across Canada.With over 100 years of service under our belt, we are always expanding and looking for talented and motivated people to join our team and help with our continued success Joining FGI means being part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of the transportation industry.Our CORPORATE HEAD OFFICE has an exciting opportunity for a CORPORATE TRAILER SALES COORDINATOR to join our teamWhat You Will Do:The Corporate Trailer Sales Coordinator is responsible for using sales data, competitive information and marketing targets to order inventory, analyze inventory demand, and execute plans that support sales, profitability, and customer service within FGI's supply chain. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:Manage all purchase orders for trailers and equipment, collect deposits for orders and close purchase orders as completed.Review orders to ensure stock trailers and equipment specifications are standardizedReview the buying cycle for vendors and make recommendations on inventory and costs.Manage supplier freight from the branches. Merge and stack trailer orders to minimize costs and select the proper carrier.Plan and forecast trailer sales and inventory requirements for each branch locationTrack sales activity from the sales team and support when neededResearch new product opportunities for new suppliers or trailer models Review inventory categories for gaps and opportunities.  Collaborate with sales team to ensure inventory requirements are met and       develop an action plan for obsolete or oversold stockManage all trailer and equipment information in Sales ForceOther duties as assigned What We Require:3 years of experience or equivalent education in heavy equipment purchasing demand planning, inventory or supply chain management  preferredHigh school diploma, GED or other high school equivalence certificatePrevious experience in equipment or trailers sales preferredPrevious experience with ERP systems an asset.Previous experience with Salesforce an assetStrong analytical skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipmentExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skills, including both written and verbalTeam-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellenceWhat We Offer:Competitive Wages -PLUS Yearly bonusGreat Benefits -Health, Dental, Vision, and much, much moreRRSP MatchingHealth Spending Account – up to $500 per yearPaid sick days and Short-Term Disability BenefitsDiscount on gym membershipRetirement PerksAnd an overall great place to beFort Garry Industries welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
