Our Quebec client is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable Associate to join the team on a permanent basis.Salary: Up to $50,000Requirements of the role:•Minimum 3+ years Accounts Payable experience required• Fluency in French is mandatory; professional proficiency in English is an asset.• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles, processes, and procedures• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Self-motivated • Must be able to work in fast paced, high volume environment and adapt to change• Excellent time management • Experience with using ERP systems, in particular Netsuite is a bonusDuties of the role:• Code and post AP bills/vouchers to correct GL accounts into the system• Ensure bills are routed to the approver per the authority manual and follow up for delays in approvals• Manage AP/vendor workflows• Investigate and seek approval of discrepancies (above threshold) of bills and PO/packing slips• Review, reconcile, and investigate vendor account statements• Assist with AP aging reports review, report and initiate follow up items• Assist with vendor payment runs and cycles that adhere to payment terms• Assist with timely AP month-end closing cut off• Assist in expense reports and other account reconciliations
