Position: Bakery & Sales Associate Reports to: Culinary ManagerWe are looking for a Bakery & Sales Associate to join Sprouted Oven This role will be a hybrid position working closely with the front of house and bakery team to support our daily operations. This includes baking, testing new and existing products or ingredients, providing fantastic customer service and maintaining the front of house. OpportunitiesIn this role, you will have the chance to apply your problem-solving skills and have the unique experience of working both front and back of house You may work odd hours on occasion, including early morning shifts, to accommodate our customer and operational needs. There will be opportunities to grow your skills, learn our unique processes, and with time, develop into a subject matter expert RequirementsHere is who you are…Drive & motivation You are familiar with natural/whole food ingredients You enjoy sharing knowledge, and working collaboratively in a team You want to expand your knowledge and learn about our unique plant based baking Character & Abilities You are meticulous, analytical, and resourceful with your work You are patient and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy You are an excellent communicator who works well with different personalities Knowledge & skills You have experience providing exceptional customer service You understand bakery production principles, processes, and equipment You have the desire to learn and grow in your position Nice-to-Have Previous experience working front and/or back of house Prior experience in a commercial bakery or food production facility Cake decorating skills things you will do… Produce baked goods in a detailed and timely manner each day Formulate existing products to meet objectives Provide support to the bakery team Display great customer service in person and over the phone Answering customer’s questions, asking appropriate questions to determine customer’s needs, up selling when appropriate Working at the till; handling cash, credit sales Actively demo store products; preparing demo’s according to Food Safe standards Filling store shelves, coolers and freezer with products; using the correct rotational system Other duties as needed other… May be required to work variable shifts on occasion Part-time position – can include early mornings, Sunday - Friday Benefits Employee Assistance Program - Counseling On-Site Parking Wage $18.67
