We are looking for a
Bakery & Sales Associate
to join Sprouted Oven This role will be a hybrid position working closely with the front of house and bakery team to support our daily operations. This includes baking, testing new and existing products or ingredients, providing fantastic customer service and maintaining the front of house.

Opportunities
In this role, you will have the chance to apply your problem-solving skills and have the unique experience of working both front and back of house You may work odd hours on occasion, including early morning shifts, to accommodate our customer and operational needs. There will be opportunities to grow your skills, learn our unique processes, and with time, develop into a subject matter expert

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience working front and/or back of house
  • Prior experience in a commercial bakery or food production facility
  • Cake decorating skills

things you will do...

  • Produce baked goods in a detailed and timely manner each day
  • Formulate existing products to meet objectives
  • Provide support to the bakery team
  • Display great customer service in person and over the phone
  • Answering customer's questions, asking appropriate questions to determine customer's needs, up selling when appropriate
  • Working at the till; handling cash, credit sales
  • Actively demo store products; preparing demo's according to Food Safe standards
  • Filling store shelves, coolers and freezer with products; using the correct rotational system
  • Other duties as needed

  • May be required to work variable shifts on occasion
  • Part-time position - can include early mornings, Sunday - Friday
