Job DescriptionThe Class 3 or 5 driver with Air Brake endorsement is responsible for:Completing local deliveries within Fort St. John and surrounding areas promptly and efficiently.Operating and maintaining the assigned delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Loading and unloading cargo using appropriate equipment and following proper handling procedures.Securing cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.Use ELD for hours of serviceUse a handheld to track deliveries, & pick-ups, and any exceptionsAdhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.Providing excellent customer service, including communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries.Managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.Reporting any accidents, injuries, or vehicle issues promptly to management.Assisting with route planning and optimization when necessary.Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.A normal work week will be Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1700.
