Our Ideal CandidateAllnorth is currently seeking an experienced surveyor for local work on a variety of projects throughout Saskatoon. You will work along side our team to conduct a broad range of field surveys including construction layout, topographic, volumetric, and legal. Attention to detail, able to work well with others, communication and organizational skills, willing to work outdoors in all seasons and all weather conditions, time management and a hard work ethic are essential qualifications for this position.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Conducting field surveys including legal, topographic, construction layout and as-builts.Lead a field crew and prepare accurate field notes and sketchesInterpret legal and construction plans to execute field workFollow safety protocols and procedures ensuring a safe work environment and promoting a safety cultureCommunicate with Project Managers, Land Surveyors and clientsWillingness to work in either field or office settings and able to complete field reports in a timely and accurate manner.What You’ll Bring to the TeamMinimum 2 years of legal and construction surveying experience3D scanning experience considered an assetLine locating or GPR experience is an assetUnderstanding of the Saskatchewan Land Titles systemAdvanced RPAS license is considered an assetDiploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field trainingExperience using AutoCAD's Civil 3D is an assetStrong interpersonal and communication skillsTechnical competence and attention to detailA high level of dependabilityPhysically fit, willing to work in varied conditions in remote areas for extended periods and varied hoursA driver’s license is required for this positionWhat’s in it for you?We believe that a happy and fulfilled team leads to exceptional results, which is why we offer a range of perks designed to support your well-being, career growth and community engagement.
