Client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile, complex systems replacement project. You will oversee the transition of a legacy trust administration system to a modern Microsoft Dynamics solution, integrating CRM and Financial components. This is a critical "in-flight" initiative requiring a leader who can balance agile development cycles with strict waterfall delivery timelines to ensure a seamless transition for vulnerable citizens and the staff who support them.Advantages• Exclusive Opportunities: Gain access to high-impact, long-term public sector contracts that aren't always visible on public job boards.• Dedicated Support: Benefit from a personalized Account Manager who understands your career goals and advocates for your placement.• Streamlined Onboarding: We handle the administrative heavy lifting, from contract negotiation to payroll, so you can focus on project delivery.• Networking Excellence: Join a community of top-tier IT professionals and expand your footprint within major government and enterprise environments.Responsibilities• Leadership & Coordination: Act as the primary integrating lead, aligning vendor agile sprints with the master waterfall release plan and fostering a collaborative team culture.• Vendor Management: Hold external vendors accountable for contractual milestones, quality standards, and deliverables while maintaining a solution-focused partnership.• Governance & Controls: Maintain the integrated master schedule, manage the RAID log, and lead project meetings across governance and delivery levels.• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve risks related to data migration, technical readiness, and organizational change before they impact the timeline.• Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing strategy, defect tracking, and data migration validation to ensure the system meets rigorous Client standards.• Change Management: Partner with training leads to ensure stakeholder readiness, communication, and smooth staff adoption during the late 2026 go-live.• Reporting & Compliance: Provide executive-level reporting on budget and performance while ensuring all privacy, security, and IMT requirements are met.Qualifications• 8+ Years of experience managing large-scale, complex software development projects in environments of similar scale to the Government of Alberta.• 8+ Years of experience in project planning, stakeholder relationship management, and implementing recognized PM methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).• 5+ Years of experience managing enterprise-scale systems (CRM, ERP, or Financial/Banking systems such as Microsoft Dynamics).• 5+ Years of experience in vendor management, contract accountability, and performance tracking.• 3+ Years of specific experience managing hybrid delivery models (Agile development within Waterfall timelines).• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of the system implementation lifecycle, including data migration, security assessments (PIA/SRA), and go-live hypercare.• Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online, and MS Office suite.• Certifications (Nice to Have): Active PMP certification and Agile-specific certifications (e.g., CSM, ACP).SummaryIf you are a strategic, results-driven Project Manager ready to lead high-impact business transformations for our client, we encourage you to apply directly to this job ad or reach out to your Randstad Digital representative immediatelyP.S.
