Start your career at U-Haul and join an exceptional, supportive team.U-Haul Offers Storage Facility Housekeepers:Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days Career stability Opportunities for advancement Valuable on-the-job training Complete Benefit Plan if eligible RRSP payroll deduction plan Deferred profit-sharing plan if eligible. Discounts on Dell computers, hotels, and more Storage Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.Dispose and picking up of trashShoveling snow around storage facility (when needed)Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as neededMinor repairs to storage facilitiesPreventative maintenance in the storage areaCompleting daily walk arounds/tasksStorage Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:Organization skillsWillingness to learnSelf-starterShifts Information:Minimum of 25-30 hours per weekShifts will vary as per the needs of the businessWork Environment:The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.Physical Demands:The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.U-Haul Holding Company, and its family of companies including U-Haul International, Inc.
