_Housekeeping Supervisor_ opportunity with **Award Winning Comfort Suites**

We are looking for an excellent communicator who demands excellence from their team as well as themselves. A person who will lead by example and desires to not only lead, but be a part of a team.

The successful individual will work shifts as a housekeeper, assisting the Senior Supervisor as required as well as shifts in a supervisory capacity in the Senior Supervisors absence.

**Essential Job Duties**:
Ensure high levels of customer service, cleanliness and sanitation standards are adhered to in all areas including public, guest room, storage and laundry as per Choice Hotel & Hotel Equities Standards.

Assist the Senior Supervisor to prepare work schedules in accordance with labour standards, occupancy and productivity requirements.

Create and uphold a deep cleaning schedule.

Promote and comply with established Hotel Safety standards and policies.
Provide leadership, training and coaching to Housekeeping employees and work as a team with Maintenance & Front Desk Departments.

Monitor employee performance, provide feedback and conduct reviews in accordance with company policies.

Participate in the interviewing and selection process for hiring of new associates as well as training and corrective actions as required.

Maintain a positive, empowering and productive work environment. Monitor and enforce standards of appearance.

Assist in preparation of annual budget; monitor costs and expenses including labour.

Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, linen inventories and cleaning supplies.

Order, receive and monitor inventory levels of linen and housekeeping supplies.

Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspections.

Record and monitor guest lost and found items.

Perform housekeeping and other duties as required.

Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements_
Able to perform cleaning tasks involving bending, crouching and reaching
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 30 pounds
Ability to work with chemical cleaning products
- Qualifications_
Previous Hotel Housekeeping Experience Completion of high/secondary school Proven leadership/supervisory experience is required, preferably in a hospitality setting CPR, WHIMIS and First Aid Training an asset

Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the location to fulfill the requirements of the role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
