Reporting to the HSE Manager, the HSE Coordinator plays a key role in supporting safe project execution by implementing HSE management systems, guiding project teams and driving continuous improvement through incident management, risk assessments, and proactive safety communication. This role is based at our Cenovus Lloydminster, AB site. This is a temporary, full-time, 6-week position, with LOA; to support our maintenance group. Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site Support implementation of the HSE Management System (HSE MS) by communicating requirements to project teams and ensuring compliance with site‑specific safety plans (PSSP). Manage incident reporting and investigations, including uploading incidents, assisting with root‑cause analysis, and supporting corrective actions. Monitor and analyze HSE performance data, identifying trends and recommending improvements to enhance site safety. Ensure regulatory and client compliance by reviewing local requirements, accompanying inspectors, and ensuring corrective actions are completed. Coordinate safety documentation and communication, including emergency plans, safety notices, reports, and meeting minutes. The Right Tools for the Job Education: High school diploma plus completion of a college or technical school diploma programExperience: 3–5 years in safety or a related fieldCertifications: Health & Safety certification or safety designation is an assetSoftware: Proficient with MS Office Suite and online reporting software.
