Ride the next mile with usResponsibilities:• Manage linehaul transportation, and other logistics processes between Stations & Hubs.• Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.• Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.• Partner and communicate with suppliers, vendors and customers.• Manage and develop staff.• Monitor regional carrier on time and budget performance.What are the typical qualifications for Regional Linehaul Team Lead jobs?• 3+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.• Firm grasp of Transportation conditions in Canada including geographic challenges .• Management principles.Qualifications:• 3-5 years of experience in the transportation industry with solid leadership and line haul experience.• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.• A strong sense of entrepreneurship, an ability to cope quickly with unforeseen events and changes.• Knowledge of current transport laws and regulations.• Flexibility and ability to travel when required.• Ideally can communicate in French and in English.
