Join our Manulife Bank Technology TeamWe have 2 Engineering Manager openings for our squads.Squad 1: Backend DataSquad 2: Vendor System productionIf you have experience leading squads and passionate in mentoring hands-on teams, let's explore a partnershipPosition Responsibilities:People LeadershipLead a team of technology Software Engineers, Quality Engineers and IT Business Analysts across multi-squad, regulatory, or other cross-cutting initiatives.Mentor your team to continuously develop and grow technical and non-technical skills through mentorship, training and providing opportunities within the program.Foster team engagement and build an impactful team.Performance management including (but not limited to) clear expectation setting, tactical and stretch goal setting, performance evaluations and development strategies.Recruitment and onboarding for technology team members.Technical Product and AssetsOwn the overall health of the technical asset(s) in its entirety.Develop, maintain and implement the assets technical roadmaps in alignment with Manulife’s technology strategy.Handle and resolve issues and risks as applicable.Partner with Product collaborators on prioritization; influencing PO to align with Asset Ownership and Health.Management and governance for technology vendors, and/or provide support from a technical perspective to business partners as they collaborate with vendors.
