Senior Cost Accountant

We are seeking a Dedicated Cost & Manufacturing Analyst to be the on-site expert, focusing purely on operational costing, profitability analysis, and supporting the sales and production teams. AdvantagesThis is an excellent opportunity to partner with the business As the Senior Cost Accountant, you will work closely with the Owners, Production teams and partner with inter-departmental leaders to impact their bottom line Being offered are: Competitive base salaryHealth & Dental benefits3 weeks vacationOpportunity to be a business partner and have a voice within the organization CPA dues and professional development coverage ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Floor Deep Dive: Spend significant time in the plant to understand and record actual time, quantities, and operational flow at the part-level detail.Average Costing Expert: Manage and maintain the specific average costing methodology, moving beyond standard costing assumptions.Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze production data (time, materials, overhead) collected via Epicor and AI modules to generate accurate burn rates and detailed cost profiles.Profitability Insight: Identify exactly where the company is making (or losing) money—by product, by process, and by customer.Pricing & Quoting Support: Provide accurate labor rates, material rates, and comprehensive cost reports to directly support pricing strategies for new customer bids.Continuous Improvement: Act as a "real digger" who is relentlessly curious about improving data accuracy and uncovering opportunities for operational efficiency.QualificationsExperience in a Manufacturing/Plant Environment is a MUST.
