As an Estimating student for Construction PCL Inc. in Montreal, you'll have the opportunity to join a fast‑growing team in the Québec market and help create meaningful impact by contributing to the delivery of outstanding projects. We are looking for an Estimating student for our Montreal District who is available full-time for 4 months starting May 4, 2026. Here's how an Estimating student for Construction PCL Inc. within Montreal contributes to our team:ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding and utilizing PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and formsReviewing quantity survey assignment with Lead Estimator or Chief EstimatorPerforming assigned quantity surveyGiving quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricingTransferring quantities to Lead EstimatorPerforming general subtrade solicitation dutiesBid document controlPerforming bid day assignmentsVisiting job sites periodicallyDeveloping relationships with subcontractorsOther duties as assigned by the Chief EstimatorQualificationsCandidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting. PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms,relevant work terms, the type of role and work location.
