We're looking for a Tax Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with complex data, and is passionate about ensuring compliance in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities, including preparing tax filings, assisting with provision calculations, supporting audits, and conducting research to ensure adherence to federal and provincial tax regulations. What will you be doing? Gather, analyze, and reconcile data required for tax compliance. Review corporate income tax filings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions. Prepare monthly and annual HST / PST returns and ensure timely payments. Prepare supporting documentation, analyze general tax ledger activity, and perform reconciliations and variance analysis of tax-related accounts.  Assist with preparing tax-related disclosures for financial statements. Support income and indirect tax audits and work directly with CRA and other tax authority auditors. Respond to inquiries from external auditors and tax authorities as required. Maintain accurate tax records and support internal control processes. Research changes in tax laws and regulations to assess potential impacts on the company. Assist with the implementation of tax planning strategies and process improvements. Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed. What experience do you have? A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate tax is preferred. Knowledge of Canadian tax reporting and filing processes is considered an asset. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and automate manual processes. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
