Sharp Trucking Services/Contrans Tank Group is looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers with Tank experience to haul across Alberta. We have year round work, which means there is no slow months and no spring break up that you have to financially plan for. What is in it for you? We believe that all driver’s should be compensated for all hours worked. Whether that is driving, loading, unloading, resetting on the road, or washing your truck. Additionally, being paid by the hour, means you receive overtime after 10 hours per day. What else is in it for you?? Industry leading compensation – $38.00 per hour, with annual reviews and increases. Paid orientation and training of $1,000.00 Benefits 80% employer 20% employee cost available upon completion of probationary period Sign on bonus - $500 paid upon first dispatch, $500 paid upon completion of probationary period Driver referral program incentives Sharp Cup incentives for safe and efficient driving practices Earning potential of 95k - 130k + Top tier equipment serviced in-house with Sharp’s maintenance shop 4on-4off schedule 8-hour guarantee on scheduled work days for local work Employee housing available Stable, year-round full-time employment across multiple industries and commercial sectors What you’ll need to join us: At least three years of mountain and off-road driving experience Liquid Tandem and Super B experience Competent with installing tire chain Able to drive a Manual transmission Ability to access or familiar with EVR (Teck) Mines is considered an asset.  You must apply with a 5-year drivers' abstract and be willing to complete of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a fit test.
