Yard Person/class 1 Driver

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Yard person as well as class 1 truck driver to look after the moving and incoming/outgoing of containers and rental units. This person would also assist in truck driving that includes the hauling of 53' vans to and from Lethbridge as well as the 4 EVR mine sites. Your time would be split roughly 70% yard work and 30% truck driving.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of yard
- Keep machinery and tools clean and organized
- Unload and load materials
- Organize and document inspections of mobile offices and washrooms moving in and out of yard
- Communicate and document repairs required
- Assist with loading containers and rental offices/washrooms
- Provide basic maintenance duties on offices/washrooms
- Fill in with deliveries of containers, units and van trailers.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of standard safety practices
- Class 1 license with 2 years experience would be an asset
- Forklift operation certificate and experience
- Clean drivers abstract
- Ability to access EVR mine sites and adhere to all safety orientations
- Work safely in outdoor conditions and changing weather
- Load securement knowledge
- Self-motivated, problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail

Pay will be negotiated based off experience, benefits after 3 months of employment.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
